Every time I smoke the 1998 Trinidad Fundadores I have to marvel at the quality of this cigar. This is the first release of the slender cigar that until then was slightly thinner than its 40-ring gauge and primarily given away as diplomatic gifts. They were both 7 ½ inches long. It always shows plenty of pepper, green coffee and dark chocolate character. It full and rich yet balanced and refined. The only drawback is that it often goes out.
